The Volunteer Civil Protection Association of Agios Stefanos (S.E.P.P.A.S.), in its ongoing effort to strengthen civil protection and monitor local weather conditions, has installed a weather station by AGENSO.
Through AGENSO’s specially designed digital platform, S.E.P.P.A.S. can now monitor real-time weather developments and receive hourly fire risk assessments for the next four days, based on forecast models and analysis of the station’s recorded data.
The station’s technological infrastructure relies on wireless communication and high-precision integrated sensors, delivering reliable data even under challenging environmental conditions. Furthermore, all data is stored and made accessible through an online application, enabling further analysis and use by the Association’s members and relevant authorities.
