AGENSO, remains faithful to its commitment to providing innovative solutions in the field of agrotechnologies and environmental monitoring, proceeded with the installation of the highest operational weather station in Greece.
The station was placed in the “Giosos Apostolidis” mountain shelter, on Olympus, at an altitude of 2,697 meters, constituting the only station in the country at such a high altitude.
AGENSO’s weather systems are designed to operate reliably in extreme conditions, with energy-autonomous operation and high resilience in inaccessible and demanding environments. The data is collected and sent in real time to our online platform, offering accurate and continuous monitoring of the climatic conditions of the region.
This installation strengthens AGENSO’s role in supporting the scientific community and in utilizing technology to monitor and understand the environment, even in the most remote areas of Greece.
