Fire detection in external and internal spaces
Model
AGIoT-0535 is an energy autonomous integrated system for the prevention and early detection of fires inside buildings or forest and rural areas. This system is designed for a wide range of applications, enhancing safety and protection across various sectors. In buildings and houses, it improves fire safety measures. In buildings and residential homes, the system enhances fire safety measures by strengthening the protection of both occupants and infrastructure against potential fire hazards. At the same time, in agricultural fields, its use is crucial for safeguarding not only crops but also agricultural infrastructure, ensuring that farmers can protect their production from the devastating effects of wildfires. Additionally, municipalities and local authorities utilize the system for continuous monitoring of fire risks in public spaces, enabling timely intervention in case of incidents and ensuring community safety. Finally, forested areas gain significant advantages from early wildfire detection, which strengthens efforts for both immediate suppression and long-term forest conservation and protection. Through proactive monitoring and timely alerts, the system plays a vital role in managing and mitigating fire-related risks, contributing to the sustainable preservation of natural ecosystems. The system consists of a data logging unit (node), a CO₂ measuring sensor, a suspended particle measuring sensor (PM1.0, PM2.5, PM4 and PM10), a thermometer, an air hygrometer and a photovoltaic panel. In addition, it can be connected to a 220V supply when working indoors.
The node comes with 2G/4G/GPRS/EDGE/NB-IoT connectivity via a built-in SIM card (which is provided with free of charge lifetime internet connection ), while the user can access the data of the connected sensors (CO₂, Particulate Matter , temperature, humidity) via the remote control and management software.
From this software (in the form of a web app or app for mobile phones) the user can be informed on the latest measurements, historical data, weather forecast, control the system remotely, export data, set alerts and create automations.
The early detection of fires is done by observing the rapid increases in the indices of dioxide, suspended particles and temperature, where it activates the sending of an alert to the operator of the system with the exact spot.
The system can be installed practically anywhere due to its small size, solar panel power supply and waterproof construction (IP67), while no specialized knowledge is required for its installation, as it has been designed with a plug-and-play architecture. In addition, it is possible to remotely restart the system or mobile network if an error is encountered.
The system is manufactured by AGENSO and comes with a two (2) year warranty.
